I'm a critical optimist and advocate of social innovation. Creativity is essential to create positive change. It forces you to break existing structures and think outside the box. And it's not about big words or difficult solutions. Little things can indeed make a big difference. Exploring on this blog how this works.

How Oliberté, the anti-TOMS, Makes Shoes and Jobs in Africa
For many - for me obvious - reasons I have never liked the over-hyped TOMS Shoes. I don’t want to get into the issue here, because I think Oliberté deserves better. I just love their concept. Oliberté Footwear is the first to make its premium leather footwear exclusively in Africa. And their shoes looks great too! Setting up a good business does not have to be that difficult. Although I am sure it is not too easy to do what they are pulling off right now. True (social) entrepreneurs don’t choose the easiest way. And don’t use their way of working as the core selling point or just simply for marketing reasons. Props to Oliberté!
Gaming for Good
PSFK challenged its readership of over 1MM creative professionals to come up with concepts that address issues put forth by The Climate Reality Project. Participants in the challenge were encouraged to leverage trends identified in PSFK’s Future Of Gaming report to create potential solutions. Check out the summery presentation below.

FRIDAY CHALLENGE
When I was 20 years old I co-founded El Desafío Foundation to help Argentinean children and their families living in poverty creating a brighter future. Today - 7 years later - the once small initiative keeps growing and growing. El Desafío means THE CHALLENGE, and honestly it has been a challenge. I chose a life full of insecurity, but I never regretted my decision. Coming Monday 28 of November I am going back to Argentina again and I need your help. That’s why I created this Friday Challenge. I want to ask you become a permanent donor/social investor of our foundation by clicking here. But you can get something in return:
Become donor and you can challenge me to do something interesting/remarkable/funny/etc. coming period in Argentina. Don’t ask for world peace, but I can bring the Argentinean delicacy like alfajores. Thanks a lot! Your help means the world to me.
1MPACTO IS COMING TO TOWN

Two weeks ago I attented the Sport for Good Global Summit organized by the Laureus Foundation. It has been amazing to meet so many changemakers from all over the world, from different backgrounds, but with one common objective: to change the world through sports. Starting an working for El Desafío has not always been easy, but it’s totally worth it. Thanks to all of you who have been supporting me throughout the years.
